Embarking on a #30DaysAIPost Challenge! 🚀
For the next 30 days, I’ll let my random creative thoughts take shape with the help of AI automation for elaboration and content writing.

Virtual + Analog + Physical | Day #11
My Thoughts –
The more and more I keep reading about advancement in technology, I see one common pattern. It’s like humans and technology are stepping towards each other for a major amalgamation blurring lines between virtual and analog.
Think of it. We are making humanoids and robots that perform physical tasks and also in parallel creating virtual worlds where our minds get immersed losing track of time and reality.

Will we become chained to our chairs immersed in virtual worlds while robots physically work on our behalf? Doesn’t it sound a bit filmy and straight out of a movie? I see a huge demand for virtual products like NFTs, skins, virtual fashion accessories etc and people are buying it even now. I also see in parallel a world where physical ownership is dying. When was the last time you owned music? Bought a record? You dont own the songs on Spotify? You lease it?

This is an interesting era to be in as we also get to see the new generation of digital natives grow and build a new world. I would wait to see what this world has in store for us? Where do we meet in the middle?

US + China + AI Research | Day #12
My Thoughts –
To keep myself updated on the world of AI I try to keep reading new articles and white papers that get released. One pattern I saw in the recent times was that most of the recent AI Whitepapers were of chinese origin. I got inquisitive and researched a bit and was surprised to learn few things via Perplexity.
- With around 12,450 generative AI publications as of 2023, China is nearly on par with the US (12,030 publications).
- By 2022, Chinese researchers produced approximately 155,487 AI papers, accounting for nearly 40% of global publications.
- The Next Generation AI Development Plan, initiated in 2017, aims to position China as a global leader in AI by 2030.
- Chinese tech giants like Alibaba, Baidu, and Tencent are heavily investing in LLMs and generative AI technologies.
- With over 262 startups focusing on generative AI products as of early 2024, there is intense competition within China’s tech industry, driving rapid innovation and updates
- The extensive deployment of surveillance systems provides vast amounts of data that can be used to train AI models effectively. This contrasts with privacy concerns in the US that limit data collection practices
- China’s centralized government can streamline decision-making processes and facilitate large-scale experimentation without the same level of public scrutiny faced in democratic nations. This allows for quicker implementation of new technologies

These are all the facts that surfaced but I feel there’s a lot more going on in here. The geo-political situation between US and China is accelerating the intensity of growth where even with heavy hardware restrictions posed by US, china is trying to make use of existing hardware, open source code and innovative localised solutions.

I have myself switched from ChatGPT to DeepSeek API for its faster and affordable integration. And I can see that in Computer Vision, chinese startups are driving rapid innovation and updates. They are making it available to the masses to get even more test data to improve their offering. I wanted to tryout https://labs.google but they are Geo restricted to India. This gives China a crucial advantage of reach in APAC and other markets with large user base.
China also benefits from a robust infrastructure that supports AI development, including extensive 5G networks and energy-efficient data centers.
It’s great to see Asian Companies keeping up with American tech giants. The ongoing competition between these two nations will likely continue to shape the landscape of AI research globally. And I hope it benefits the world positively.

Overuse of AI | Day #13
My Thoughts –
Today I was thinking about this challenge I have taken upon, to write a post about AI for the next 30 Days. I am already running out of ideas. The next thought that came in my mind was to use AI to search for ideas. But then the thought struck me. What happens when we overuse AI?

Imagine if everyone knew how to use the AI tools and followed a similar path, wouldn’t the output get monotonous after a while.
What happens to creativity? What happens when all the Social Media posts look the same? What happens when the Advertising Taglines and Copy sound repetitive? Would you still buy the product/service? Would you have AI fatigue? Would then the trend of AI die? Or would it bring in another new tool or technology that changes the game altogether?

Due to overuse of AI, I wonder whether the content will be enticing enough for users to think / ponder after a point? I can see that social media is already full of AI content. I wanted to start talking about my AI journey and tools I am exploring on Instagram but then again I stopped and thought, how am I different? Why will people want to listen to me? Am I adding any value that the other influencers aren’t already. Hence, I put my thought on hold and am waiting for the right communication and path which makes me stand out from the clutter.
I also know that this space has enough capacity to handle million more influencers. But do I want to be one of them or stand out on my own? Only time will tell. For now, I know that consistency beats luck. I want to set a consistent approach with building my brand and also talking about my learnings along with it. What do you think? Should I go the AI route, automate my entire workflow? Make an AI Clone and start posting daily? Would that be interesting? I would like to know your perspective. Feel free to share.
